Entering the Battle Plane once again, Kinoko brought the next two competitors. The two competitors were of good fighting quality: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Gohan. Thus, this is an account of the battle...
Once again ascending to his referee platform, Kinoko Otoko instructed both fighters in the rules of the fight. After seeing that both fighters were prepared, and surprisingly obedient in the rulings of Kinoko, he announched: "Let the battle...BEGIN!" "I sense..a strong surge of the Light Side of the Force in you," commented Obi-wan. "Huh? What's the force?" questioned Gohan, puzzled. "It is what flows through all things. I sense that, as you seem to be filled with "good", you do not enjoy violence," remarked Obi-wan. "Well..yeah, I don't really like fighting," admitted Gohan. "You have been brought here to fight..not to condone your pacifist feelings!" yelled Kinoko, angered by such display of weakness. Activating his lightsaber, Obi-Wan added, "Very well, I will spare you the violence which you do not enjoy. Instead, I will make your defeat quick." "Hey! You're not going to defeat me that easily!" exclaimed Gohan, powering up a Ki Blast. Jumping at Gohan, Obi-Wan slashed at him with his lightsaber, catching Gohan's left leg as he jumped back..too late. Gohan stumbled from the pain, but fired his Ki Blast at Obi-Wan. The Jedi, masterful of defensive moves with his lightsaber, blocked the Blast, then jumped at Gohan again, slashing deep into his shoulder. Gasping from the pain, Gohan flew into the air, put his hands in the air, powered up a blast, and fired it at Obi-Wan. Sensing the attack before it happened, Obi-Wan jumped backwards, dodging most of the attack, and blocking most of the rest, getting hit in the side by a small part of the blast. Gohan then flew at Obi-Wan catching him with a surprise Kamehameha, which blew the Jedi back, sending him flying 20 feet. As Gohan landed on the ground to try and regain his strength, he noticed the deactivated lightsaber, which he thought was the Jedi's only defense. He grabbed it, then threw it 50 feet away from him, far enough to keep the Jedi from using it, or so he thought. As the Jedi stood up, realizing the lightsaber was gone, he used the force to retrieve it toward him, surprising Gohan enough to leave him defenseless to another lightsaber slash, which landed deep into his right leg. Nearly crippled, Gohan managed to fly into the air, realizing walking would be impossible, and charged up another Kamehameha. As the Jedi jumped at him, he fired it, and ended up knocking the Jedi into the referee platform. "Hey! What do you think you're doing?" questioned Kinoko Otoko, drawing his Kabi Katana. Realizing what had happened, Obi-Wan jumped down from the platform and started running, stopping when he had put Gohan between himself and the platform. Gohan fired several Ki Blasts at Obi-Wan, which were deflected with the lightsaber. Weakened, Gohan charged up one more Kamehameha, noticing the damage the Jedi had taken, and was confident it would finish Obi-Wan off. Noticing Gohan's distraction, Obi-Wan used the force to lift a piece of the referee platform into the air, then sent it hurtling at Gohan with such a force that it slammed him into the ground, unconscious. Kinoko Otoko jumped from his platform, going to check Gohan. After finding him incapacitated, Kinoko Otoko walked up to Obi-Wan. "You have damaged my platform..which I strictly specified in the rules that you were not to touch." "I did not damage the platform, Mushroom King. Gohan did when he blasted me into it. I merely used the broken piece against him." "Fine..then he will suffer the wrath." With that, Kinoko drew his Kabi Katana, and smited Gohan with it, knocking his body several feet away. Raising his hand in the air, Kinoko announced: "The winner of Round 4 is...Obi-Wan Kenobi!" Pleased with his victory, Obi-Wan Kenobi was returned to the Jedi temple, where he meditated on the recent fight. After another resounding blow from the Kabi Katana's blunt side, Gohan was sent back to his home, where he slowly healed, then began training to become stronger. Kinoko Otoko had two mushroom attendants repair the referee platform, then left to retrieve the next two contestants.
And the 4th Round ends, with the scores of the two teams tied, 2-2. Continue watching for more battles, as there are only 3 to go!
