Because there's a need to be random...
Lightbulb Requiem
- I duct tape my ladder,
- for I know it cannot swim.
- Flying is the treachery of tadpoles;
- may they burn their noses bluntly.
- Why the seagull does not drown,
- when it catches fish in the sea, I'll never know.
- Perhaps it is a fish as well, but
- with wings, and a tail, and no gills.
- Forever does the turnip shine,
- when the oak tree tries to sing.
- Burning indeed helps the sneaker geese,
- who feel their waterfalls will become
- black ink.
- Baldness is a sin, but can still repent,
- if it is used to kill the hippies.
- Screaming television giraffe zombies cannot
- excuse the warts, for they are pink and unsightly.
- Scream! cries the CD, for it knows no pain.
- Burning clocks do toll the wicked flashlight's
- nonsense.
- Earrings will melt under the cold iceberg's glare,
- when the seals vaporize their aluminum microphone
- buses.
- Die and live, for the reviving potion will not know
- when the ionic pencil does implode when seeking
- the true fountain of knowledge, for then
- will the flamingos cast all into flames and torment
- forever.
