The Rematch of Ifrit and Yoda

On the Plane of Conceived Perception, Ifrit appeared suddenly, and shortly after him, Yoda. They both looked around, noticed each other, and then realized what was going on. Kinoko Otoko appeared on a platform above them, and said, "You have been brought here as a result of your last battle." "You mean the one where I beat that green freak?" question Ifrit, laughing at Yoda. "Fooled by the Dark Side, you are. Belonged to me, the victory did!" excalimed Yoda, shaking his cane at Ifrit, who burst out laughing. "QUIET DOWN! Yoda, I will not have your interruptions anymore. The next time you interrupt me, you will incur my wrath!" yelled Kinoko Otoko, pointing his Kabi Katana at Yoda. "Now then, as a result of the previous battle, which has been disputed, I have decreed that there will be a rematch. Each of you will battle, however, the battle will have a time limit. There will be no more battling for any longer than 1 day." announced Kinoko. "Furthermore," he added, turning to Ifrit, "since Yoda has the Force, as well as his worthless lightsaber, you may use any attacks or weapons, considering that you do not attempt to use them against me." "That will be quite acceptable, as I don't resort to cheap tactics like that, though my opponent may try to." "Lies you speak.." started Yoda, before Kinoko Otoko threw a rock, which appeared from thin air, at Yoda's head, shutting him up. "Now then, as I have said before, I make the final judgements. THERE WILL BE NO ARGUMENTS ABOUT THEM!" he said, directing it toward Yoda, who gave him an angry look but kept quiet. After seeing that both fighters were ready, Kinoko Otoko announced: "Let the battle...BEGIN!"

Ifrit started first, lunging at Yoda with an incredible speed, slicing him several times with his claws. Yoda, sensing Ifrit's attack before he reached him, drew his lightsaber to deflect the attack, but could only deflect a few, getting sliced a few times. As Ifrit finished the last swipe of his attack, Yoda swung his lightsaber at Ifrit, doing little more than causing an itch, which Ifrit paused to scratch. Yoda, getting frustrated, used the force to lift Ifrit, but could only toss him a few feet, as the power of Ifrit interfered with his ability keep in tune with the Force. Ifrit then sent a ball of fire straight towards Yoda, burning him somewhat, and knocking him back nearly 10 feet. Jumping into the air, he fell towards Ifrit, lightsaber pointed down at Ifrit's head. Yawning, Ifrit casually swatted Yoda away, sending him flying into the air. Yoda eventually landed on the referee platform, causing Kinoko Otoko to become angry. "What do you think you're doing? That is it Yoda, I've had enough of you trying to annoy me. You've just incurred my wrath!" With that angry outburst, Kinoko Otoko drew his Kabi Katana. Yoda, started to get up, dazed from the impact, only to feel the blunt side of the Kabi Katana slamming into his head. He was thrown 50 feet into the air, and slammed back to the ground, barely conscious. Ifrit picked him up and gave him a swift kick, which managed to make him alert. He became truly angered, and using the force, hurled his lightsaber at Ifrit at the speed of a bullet, sinking it deep into Ifrit's shoulder. Ifrit roared, as the lightsaber stabbing didn't feel much different than being slgihtly pinched, but the fact that he had been attacked still angered him. He pulled it out of his shoulder, melting it in his grip, and making it useless, then hurled the piece of molten metal at Yoda, burning his hand as he tried to block it from hitting him. As Yoda yelped in pain, screaming somewhat, Ifrit walked to him, smacking him into the ground. "I can use any attack, correct?" he questioned Kinoko Otoko. Smiling evilly, as he enjoyed such destruction, Kinoko replied, "Do whatever you want." As Yoda opened his eyes, still in pain from the burn of the molten metal, he saw Ifrit casting Hellfire upon him. Suddenly, he was engulfed in a swirling torrent of fire and pain. He attempted to shield the flames using the Force, but even that couldn't stop him from burning to a crisp. When the attack was done, Yoda lay in the midst of a blackened circle, more black and brown colored than green, as his flesh still sizzled from the attack.

Kinoko Otoko, chuckling at the scene, jumped down from his platform to inspect Yoda. Suddenly, Yoda opened his eyes, grabbing for his lightsaber, then realized it was not there, and swung his cane at Ifrit, who merely turned it to cinders and ashes. Kinoko Otoko bent down and looked at Yoda, who merely closed his eyes, realizing his defeat. Kinoko Otoko turned to Ifrit, then said, "Well, since the freakish green elf-thing has been toasted..heh heh..it looks as if you are the champion Ifrit, though there was little doubt the fight would result in anything else." "Thank you, Mushroom King. It was a great pleasure to toast this little freak, and now that I have succeeded in winning the rematch, I shall return to my cave, where I will collect money to obtain Halo 2, and other necessary games." With this, Ifrit returned to his cave, where he did indeed begin collecting money. After being smacked with the broad side of the Kabi Katana, and kicked thoroughly, Yoda managed to stand up, only to be smited with the Kabi Katana again. Kinoko Otoko then sent him back to Coruscant, where he had a new lightsaber made, and after a long bacta treatment, he was healed enough to continue training Padawan learners in the Jedi Temple, though he made a decision that he would never fight again, after having been so badly defeated. Kinoko Otoko, seeing this was well, left the Plane, looking for more fighters to amuse him by battling.
